Euphoria recruitment

Hey guys!
Im aware that Euphoria need to recruit at the moment, and you might know allready that im suspending recruitment for HellBound for 2+ months after today.

Part of the reason is that I know Euphoria need to recruit new members at the moment due to some core members leaving.

But I do have a problem, I think its wise if you stop your applications for a while you just seem to be adding hoards and hoards of new members in to the union and in to your guild and I personally dont think its such a good idea.

Its nice to have new members but there is probably way too many coming in.

Might be a good idea to accept a group of new people then stop applications for a week or two until they fit in and pass the trials.... and then recruit more people again?

Just a suggestion.

Sorry for the double post, but I also see your not trial voting some people on the forums... whats going on there? Its not really fair to the members you are making votes for... kinda giving the wrong messages?

That's strange, Im quite sure there was a vote for Holly, but I can't seem to find it either..

The holly situation was discussed through the masters, we had an original vote for her, but Some people no names going to be mentioned were very very discriminative and unfair towards her out of jealousy, So we spoke about it and concluded she wasnt given a fair chance to be herself

(And sorry holly xD Kill me later)

Holly couldnt be hereself after the way she had been treated and got really self concious, me and amy decifded this was extremeöly unfair, so therefore shes been Accepted. This was because me and 2 other members know her very well outside of game and we know what shes like...

As for rowlerhas, He didnt get a trial vote.
He was accepted by the masters for the amount of help he have everyone with figuring out surgat and the amount of things he did for them.

As for anyone else, No one else gets in without a trial vote, For the simple reason thats wrong..

As for cooling our heels on recruitment, dont worry, me and lemol spoke about it last night and we are going to close apps after our current ones have been decided upon and will leave it for probs 3 weeks...

Hmm its your guild I guess, but if your going to use the trial system then every on should get a vote so members can voice their opinions about the member.

Its what the trial system is for, if you had a couple of members that had some issues with Holly then thats their opinions and you shouldnt try and change them because you beleive its unfair, other wise you have a pointless trial voting system because people are gunna be scared to say what the truly think if their votes are over looked and shunned because of their opinions.

Im sure no one has a bad word to say about Hass, but if a member did have an issue its the right place to bring it up...... it just screams favoritism to me and its not very fair on the other guild members who have to go through the trial system.

And its nice to hear your gunna cool down on the recruiting. I understand that you need new members at the moment, but its always a good idea to let every one bond before you open the flood gates again.

I couldn't of put it better myself Smatt. Some of the members weren't very welcoming to me and I didn't feel like part of the Euphoria family, I'm not saying that what happened with my Trial is acceptable, but I didn't feel like I was in a position to even say anything in Union/Guild chat, when I normally have a lot to say (as you probably all know xD). I didn't feel like I could be myself.

I'm sorry it's caused a hassle Smile2

Im not blaming Holly here, I think shes a nice girl and she works well in the union.
But if you think that some of youre core members leaving and some others going inactive was the right thing to happen, then I worry for Euphoria.

To point out some rules that Euphoria has that might be confusing.

Irl friends or sibblings gets an auto Trial (i.e someone that can be trusted that "we" know from before) that has been up for discussion lots of times.
And the Guild Master has the right to do it to anyone he/she thinks seem to fit in the guild.

I dont know if that was the specific reason this time but thats official rules.

The most sad thing is that some coremembers are leaving and some are inactive. My suggestion is that we should grow slowly and not bring in too many peeps. Take things slowly, that's the best Smile
